This is a pencil drawing of the political emblem and popular tourist attraciton, Big Ben. Although the surrounding buildings and street are more abstract, the famous clock tower is intricately detailed. The intriguing 'jelly' effect makes the Elizabeth Tower and its famously large bell appear haphazard, as if on the brink of collapse. However, this also adds the surreal element of motion to this solid scructure. 'Big 'Jelly' Ben' moves and sways to the urban rhythm and busy streets in the heart of London.
